"Tigh
Mo Sheanair" means "my grandfather's house"
in English. The property is set in stunning scenery overlooking
the island of Taransay which was made famous during the
BBC series "Castaway" and is only two minutes
walk from the beautiful Luskentyre sands.
Neil
Macdonald, the owner of the property, is the grandson of
Neil MacDonald, a well known Gaelic Bard and one of the
original Harris Land Raiders of the early twentieth century.
Apart
from the house, a six berth caravan is also available for
let and both properties are open on an all-year basis.
